Roughlee Trout Fishery, The Friendly Fishery   Terry congratulates a Roughlee troutmaster A delightful spring and river fed Fly Fishery. The 2.5 acre lake nestles at the heart of the charming Lancashire village of Roughlee. surrounded by picturesque Pendle countryside on the edge ofthe Forest of Bowland, yet only 10 minutes from the M65. The Fishery is open (all year from 8am until dusk. The lake is stocked with best quality Rainbow and Blue Trout to double figures. Native Brown Trout (which must be returned) are also present. Fishing is from bank only.At Roughlee we actively encourage junior and anglers new to Fly Fishing with friendly advice and guidance readily given.
